Dragami Games president Yoshimi Yasuda confirmed that a new update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will add the long-awaited Nightmare Mode in April 2025.
On Twitter/X, Yasuda noted that Nightmare Mode is an entirely new “remake” element of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. Yasuda will reveal new details about the new mode sometime next week, so he hopes that fans stay tuned for what’s to come.
Previously, Dragami Games released Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP update 1.09, which added the long awaited Photo Mode and Goth Outfit. The update is available now on all platforms. Photo Mode allows players to pause Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP at any time to take photos with various settings. These settings include camera angle, depth of field, poses, facial expressions, filters, and frames.
Added alongside the Photo Mode is the Goth Outfit. The Goth Outfit was a store-exclusive bonus costume from the original Lollipop Chainsaw game in Japan. Now, all Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP players may toggle the outfit for Juliet across various game modes, including the upcoming Nightmare Mode.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Xbox One version may be upgraded to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
Thus far, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has sold more than 200,000 copies since launch. These sales include digital copies sold on Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam, along with physical shipments of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP worldwide.
