After months of anticipation, UNIVRS announced the new Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable Global Challenge – Thunder Spear Unlock event will run from February 26 at 10:00 p.m. PST to March 9 at 11:59 PM PST. In the event, players work together and pool points to unlock the powerful Thunder Spear.
During the Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable Global Challenge – Thunder Spear Unlock event, players can enjoy co-op mode with friends who own Part 1 without needing to purchase Part 2. Part 1 will be rebranded to Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable, and Part 2 will be titled Armored Titan Expansion Pack. The contents of each Part will not be changed, however.
Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable and Armored Titan Expansion Pack are now available and discounted to $6.99 and $9.99, respectively. The Complete Edition containing both parts is available for $15.99 on Meta Quest 2, 3/3S, and Pro via the Meta Quest Store. These deals end alongside the Global Challenge on March 9 at 11:59 PST.
Originally announced in December 2022, Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable was going to let fans gear up to combat Titans in summer 2023. However, further quality improvements were necessary, and the game was delayed to winter 2023. Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable was delayed once again to 2024, and the Complete Edition released on December 17, 2024.
The Attack on Titan anime series is available to stream now on Crunchyroll, including Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters Special 2. The special followed up directly after the events of the first Final Chapters special. This special is the culmination of the entire series, adapting the manga’s final chapters in a lengthy episode. The anime special may be streamed right now with English subs and English dubs on Crunchyroll.
