The fifth 2025 issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine confirmed that the My Dress-Up Darling manga series by Shinichi Fukuda will end with its next chapter. The final My Dress-Up Darling manga chapter will appear in the magazine’s seventh issue on March 21.
Fukuda launched the manga in Young Gangan in January 2018, and it entered the Tenmei (Mandate of Heaven) arc in January 2023. In September 2023, the manga switched to monthly serialization. Square Enix Manga & Books published the manga’s 14th compiled book volume in November 2024, one month after the 12th volume released in English. Well over 10 million copies are in circulation.
Moreover, the My Dress-Up Darling anime series premiered in January 2022 and ran for 12 episodes. The anime is streaming right now on Crunchyroll, and it features an English dub. A My Dress-Up Darling sequel anime is currently in the works for a premiere in 2025.
