Amazon Japan has revealed, in a new listing for Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine, that a My Dress-Up Darling sequel anime will air in 2025. While the anime’s staff and distributors have not yet confirmed the announcement, they’ll likely reveal more in the coming weeks and months. The anime initially premiered in 2022.
Before the anime series premiered, the My Dress-Up Darling manga series moved 3.5 million copies in circulation. This past October, Aniplex announced that the My Dress-Up Darling manga by Shinichi Fukuda reached a total of 10 million copies in circulation. Fukuda and anime character designer Kazumasa Ishida shared two new illustrations to celebrate the milestone.
The My Dress-Up Darling manga releases new chapters monthly for the foreseeable future in Young Gangan magazine. Moreover, the My Dress-Up Darling anime series is available to stream right now on Crunchyroll, and a sequel anime is currently in the works.
Lastly, here’s an overview of the series from Square Enix Manga & Books:
