SEGA announced the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds closed network test will be held from February 21 at 4:00 p.m. PST / 7:00 p.m. EST to February 23 at 4:00 p.m. PST / 7:00 p.m. EST for PlayStation 5 only. Sign-ups for the closed network test will be open until February 19 via the game’s official website.
The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds closed network test will feature six tracks, five CrossWorlds, nine playable characters, and three modes, along with 16 vehicles. Players who participate and complete a post-test survey will receive a special in-game bonus for the full game.

According to SEGA, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will feature the largest roster of characters in any Sonic Racing title, along with a wide selection of customization options for vehicles. In addition, the new Travel Rings feature affects the race in real time by transporting racers to new “CrossWorlds.”
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will release in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Lastly, here’s a description of the game, via SEGA:
