Marvel and NetEase have revealed a Valentine’s Day event for Marvel Rivals. The event will allow players to “match” with streamers at select times. If they play with those streamers, they will get access to a new skin for Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) or Susan Storm (Invisible Woman).
The following times will be available for players to potentially match with other streamers:
- February 12: Dallas Servers between 4-6 PM PDT / 7-9 PM EDT
- February 13: Frankfurt Servers between 8-10 AM PDT / 4-6 PM UTC
- February 14: Tokyo Servers between 3-5 AM PDT / 8-10 PM JST/KST.
These costumes will also be available separately or in a bundle in the in-game Marvel Rivals store. Check out the new costumes below:

Additionally, NetEase also announced that the proposed mid-rank reset will no longer be implemented. According to them, “the first half of the season will still conclude on February 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC+0). Players at Gold rank will receive the costume reward, as well as Crests of Honors for those in Grandmaster and above, and the Crest of Honor for the top 500 (One Above All).
When the second half of the season begins, there will be no rank reset. Players will retain their ranks and scores from the end of the first half. To earn new rewards, players simply need to complete 10 matches in Competitive mode and meet the relevant conditions by the end of the season. Rewards will include a new Gold rank costume and a variety of Crests of Honor, featuring distinct designs for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and One Above All.
Lastly, Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game’s next characters, The Thing (Ben Grimm) and Human Torch (Johnny Storm), will release on January 21.
