Bye Bye, Earth Season 2: Everything You Need to Know

Tow Ubukata’s Bye Bye, Earth season two will be a part of the 2025 spring anime line-up. The second season is set to premiere in Japan on April 4 at 11:30 p.m. JST. Reportedly, Who-ya Extended will perform the opening “Aufheben,” while ASCA will perform the ending theme “Moonwalk.”

The anime features a star-studded line-up. Fairouz Ai and Kouki Uchimiya will retain their roles as Belle Lablac and Adonis, and most of the cast from season one will also retain their roles.

As for staff, Yasuto Nishikata will direct the anime at LIDENFILMS alongside his assistant director, Sōta Yokote. Hiroyuki Yoshino handles the series scripts, while Yūki Hino does the character design.

Yen Press is responsible for releasing the novel in English. It describes it as follows: “Belle lives in a world where people take the forms of animals like cats, frogs, and mice—and she’s the odd one out! This peculiar fang-less, fur-less, scale-less, smooth-skinned girl sets off on a journey to find others like her. However, in order to travel freely, she’ll have to wield her Howling Sword and prove herself in battle!”
