GungHo Online Entertainment announced they will be celebrating the fourth anniversary of the official Uncle Death YouTube Channel. Uncle Death and LET IT DIE director Shin Hideyuki will have multiple anniversary episodes up every Monday starting February 10.
Five episodes will be released through March 10 to celebrate the channel’s 4th anniversary. In the videos, Uncle Death and director Shin will guess the rankings of iconic channel moments across five categories. If they’re wrong, both will face a “unique Japanese cuisine punishment.”
Here’s when to expect the episodes:
- Episode 1: February 10 -Director Shin’s Top 7 Best Cosplays
- Episode 2: February 17 – Top 5 Harsh Challenges
- Episode 3: February 24 – Top 5 Disappointing Plays
- Episode 4: March 3 – Top 10 Odd & Good Plays
- Episode 5: March 10 – Top 10 Director Shin Pranks
Previously, GungHo Online Entertainment filed a new trademark for LET IT DIE: Inferno on June 4, 2024, which appears to be the new title for the redeveloped version of Deathverse: Let It Die. The trademark was made public on June 12, 2024 in Japan.
Previously, services for Deathverse: Let It Die were suspended on July 18, 2023. At the time, Supertrick Games reveal its plans to “redevelop” the online action game and make major improvements. There was a lack of updates for the remainder of 2023, but Supertrick Games director Hideyuki Shin did confirm that Deathverse: Let It Die will be a roguelike exploration game with co-op and PvP elements.
The original Deathverse: Let It Die released on September 28, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game released on October 5, 2022 for PC via Steam. The console and PC versions had their services suspended on July 18, 2023.
