The staff of the A Wild Last Boss Appeared! TV anime confirmed that the show will premiere in October 2025. In addition, the main staff and first cast members of the anime were revealed alongside a new teaser trailer and key visual.

Ami Koshimizu plays the role of Lufas Maphaahl, while Yuri Usui plays Dina. Yūya Horiuchi directs A Wild Last Boss Appeared! anime series at studio Wao World, and WOWMAX is producing it. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu oversees the series scripts, Maiko Ebisawa is the character designer, and Takashi Kobayashi and Shōta Ueno are the sub-character designers.
Firehead and YahaKo launched the A Wild Last Boss Appeared! light novel series on the Let’s Be Novelists website in 2015, and it ran until 2017. The 9th and final volume released in print in April 2019. Tsubasa Hazuki launched a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth Star manga in 2017, and it’s still ongoing. The manga’s 10th volume will release on February 12, and the manga is being published in English by J-Novel Club.
