SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a combat overview trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii to highlight naval battles and mechanics. As previously detailed, Goro Majima captains a ship and its crew across the high seas to explore islands and take down enemy crews.

Majima has two fighting styles, Mad Dog and Sea Dog, and he can jump in combat for the first time. The Dragon Kart and Crazy Delivery mini-games will make their return from past installments. Further, fans may also customize Majima’s outfit. In a post-launch update, players will have access to New Game+. With clear data, players can start a new playthrough with bonuses in New Game+.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place six months after Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and focuses on Goro Majima. Waking up on an island without his memories, Majima is saved by a young boy named Noah Rich. After coming to his senses, Majima sets out on an adventure in the Hawaiian waters with Noah to reclaim his memories and uncover treasure. Moreover, the game explores the aftermath of Infinite Wealth, including clean-up at Nele Island.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii releases February 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders include the Ichiban Pirate Crew Set and Ichiban Special Outfit Set, which includes Ichiban and Nancy as crew members and Ichiban’s outfits for Majima respectively.
