During the latest RGG Like a Dragon Direct, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will get New Game+ for free in a post-launch update. New Game+ lets players start a new Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii playthrough with clear data from their previous one.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place six months after Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and focuses on Goro Majima. Waking up on an island without his memories, Majima is saved by a young boy named Noah Rich. After coming to his senses, Majima sets out on an adventure in the Hawaiian waters with Noah to reclaim his memories and uncover treasure. Moreover, the game explores the aftermath of Infinite Wealth, including clean-up at Nele Island.
In this new title, Majima will have two fighting styles: Mad Dog and Sea Dog. You can jump in combat for the first time, and Majima captains a ship across the high seas to explore islands and take down enemy crews. The Dragon Kart and Crazy Delivery mini-games will make their return from past installments. Further, fans may also customize Majima’s outfit.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii releases February 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders include the Ichiban Pirate Crew Set and Ichiban Special Outfit Set, which includes Ichiban and Nancy as crew members and Ichiban’s outfits for Majima respectively.
