In the midst of the January 2024 winter storm in the US, Crunchyroll announced that several of its new English dub anime releases were delayed. This includes the second cour premiere for Trillion Game, MF Ghost Season 2 episode 12, and much more.

- The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL episode 12

The recent winter storm reached Dallas, Texas, where Crunchyroll is currently based out of. Several inches of snow brought power outages and other impacts, including downed trees, across southern portions of the US, including Texas and Georgia.
In other news, Crunchyroll will launch a new manga app in 2025 as a Crunchyroll Premium add-on. The new app will launch standalone as Crunchyroll Manga on iOS and Android. Web browser support for the app is planned for the future. Moreover, Crunchyroll Manga will first launch in English in the United States and Canada, and other language options planned, according to Crunchyroll’s blog post. Crunchyroll plans to reveal the list of titles and publishers at a later date.
