The New VIRTUA FIGHTER Project released a new pre-development concept video that showcases in-engine footage of the previs and pre-production process for the upcoming title.
The footage was revealed at CES 2025, which is known to be the largest technology trade show in the world. Please be aware that this is not gameplay footage and that the gameplay and characters may differ from the final product. Platforms for the new game weren’t announced, but it will likely be a day-one release on PC.

Moreover, fans of Virtua Fighter can look forward to Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is coming to PC via Steam later this winter with rollback netcode, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced. According to SEGA, R.E.V.O will take the gameplay of Virtua Fighter 5 and raise it “to new levels”.
