HoYoverse announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 “Paean of Era Nova” will launch on January 15 alongside the physical Trailblazer Edition. The update will mark the beginning of Honkai: Star Rail’s biggest story arc yet, which will last into Version 3.7.
After leaving Penacony, players embark on a journey to Amphoreus with the help of Black Swan in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0. From the outside, Amphoreus looks like a chaotic vortex, and its existence is impossible to detect or understand. It’s inhabitants are completely unaware of the outside universe, gods in Amphoreus are tangible instead of myths, and a mysterious “black tide” is devouring the world, leaving only one sanctuary — the Holy City of Okhema, defended by Kephale the Worldbearing Titan. The Astral Express group will arrive on Amphoreus as an unexpected force beyond this world, destined to change the world’s fate.
In Amphoreus, players will befriend the mysterious creature Mem, who can support the Trailblazer in battles to gradually charge energy and allows a character to immediately take action and deal additional True DMG. Once player reach the Holy City, players will learn more about the world’s gods, known as Titans. A group known as Chrysos Heirs will also make their presence known as allies wanting to restore Amphoreus to glory. Moreover, players will visit the Vortex of Genesis, Version 3.0’s last map and the grand sanctuary of the 12 divine Titans.
“The Herta” will join as a new 5-star Ice-Type Erudition character skilled at AoE. She’s joined by Aglaea, a Chrysos Heir that bares the authority of “Romance.” Aglaea is the first limited 5-star Remembrance character, and she’s a very worthy ally. In Version 3.0, players can also pull from a special Warp event. Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade are available in the first half, while Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf are available in the second half.
