The official website for the Skip and Loafer anime series confirms that Season 2 is currently in production. P.A. Works will continue to animate and produce the series in the second season.
Staff for Skip and Loafer Season 2, along with a release date, were not announced. However, Crunchyroll confirmed that they will stream the new season on the service whenever it premieres in Japan, simultaneously.
To celebrate the announcement, Skip and Loafer manga creator Misaki Takamatsu released a new illustration on the anime’s official website:
Takamatsu serialized the original Skip and Loafer manga series in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine in August 2018, and its still ongoing to this day. 10 volumes were released in Japan thus far.
Kotomi Deai directed and wrote the series composition for the first season of the Skip and Loafer anime at P.A. Works. Manami Umeshita is the character designer, and Takatsugu Wakabayashi is the composer.
