To celebrate the announcement of the Okami sequel, Capcom has released a new bundle featuring Okami HD and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The Okami + Kunitsu-Gami Bundle is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC today, followed by PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in the coming days.
Alongside the new bundle, Capcom released a title update for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The update introduces speedrun missions for various boss battles, new Mazo Talismans, and much more. You can read the full patch notes below, via Capcom’s official website for the game:
- Miscellaneous bug fixes have been made.
- Increased acceleration amount for each value on the slider for Camera Acceleration.
- Please reconfigure as necessary after applying the update.
- Decreased damage inflicted by Sorcerers when summoning Shikigami.
- Reduced incantation time when there are multiple Sorcerers.
- “Play Again” is now available after defeating Nanamagari and the final boss of New Game+.
- Added speedrun missions for Nanamagari and the final boss of New Game+.
- Added three new Mazo Talismans as rewards for the aforementioned missions.
- The results screen shown after defeating a boss will now display information about the New Game+ playthrough and the villagers.
- Added Wide Mode to the Display tab of the Options menu.
- Added treasure chests that the Thief can find to some stages.
- Added voice-over to the cutscene that plays after the tutorial stage.
Lastly, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon’s review of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess notes that its an “instant cult classic” and a wonderfully strange experience that deserves as much recognition as Capcom’s heavy hitters.
