Monolith Soft Shares Photo of Monopon Wearing the Company Emblem

A peek into the day to day life of the company featuring Monopon.

    Published:

Monolith Soft‘s Japanese X (formerly Twitter) account has recently posted a picture under the #モノリスソフトの日常 (translated as #DailyLifeAtMonolithSoft) hashtag, showcasing the company emblem badge that Monolith Soft employees wear. Company mascot Monopon is rightfully wearing that badge in the photo.

The tweet, when translated, reads as follows: “Though it is not often shown, Monolith Soft has a company emblem [badge]. Since staff members normally come to work in their casual wear, they often wear it on special occasions such as get-togethers. Monopon always wears the company emblem, so maybe I have a strong spiritual love towards the company? #DailyLifeAtMonolithSoft”

In case you missed it, it was recently announced that Nintendo now owns 100% of Monolith Soft, after an unknown purchase of the remaining 4% that was previously owned by the company’s co-founders Hirohide Sugiura, Tetsuya Takahashi, and Yasuyuki Honne.

In addition, Nintendo also announced that Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025. The Nintendo eShop describes Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition as follows:

The year is 2054. Earth has been destroyed by an intergalactic war between two alien races, and humanity is on the brink of annihilation. A small number of survivors, aboard the USS White Whale, crash land on the vast and untamed planet Mira—and now it falls to you, as a member of BLADE, to help bring humanity back from the edge of extinction…with the aid of powerful giant robots called Skells! The visually enhanced edition of this open-world RPG contains newly added story elements and more.
