Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO, showcasing the new Split Screen (local multiplayer) update. The update allows all stages to be playable offline in Split Screen battles, instead of just the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage.
Additionally, many changes have been made for the system mechanics, skills, blasts, and characters with the Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO Split Screen update, For those wondering, Afterimage Strike, Instant Spark skills, Giants, and Android 19/20 have received nerfs. Fans may also look forward to new DLC characters Glorio and Vegeta (Mini) from Dragon Ball Daima. Glorio and Vegeta (Mini) will be available alongside others from Dragon Ball Daima in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO DLC 2, launching in Q1 2025. DLC 2 will also release in Q1 2025, focusing on playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. DLC 3 releases in Q2 2025 with more playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima. All three DLCs are available separately or with the Season Pass.
Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO is the fastest selling Dragon Ball game of all time, with over three million copies sold in the first 24 hours. That number has likely grown by a substantial amount since the launch this past Friday, so another update from Bandai Namco is expected soon. Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
