Cygames has announced a new original anime titled Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show. The anime will premiere in 2025. The story will focus on Miko Kurono, known as “Necronomico.” She begins her dream job of being a streamer after graduation while spending time with her friend, Mayu Mayusaka, and her rival, Kanna Kagurazaka. Soon, they get an offer to play a VR game that will change their lives.

Cygames is previously known for their work on Uma Musume Pretty Derby and Granblue Fantasy. Recently, they added Vikala to the Granblue Fantasy fighting game, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. They also confirmed that Character Pass 2 DLC will release in winter, with Sandalphon being the first DLC character for the pass. An exact release date for Sandalphon will be announced at a later date.
