Cygames and Arc System Works announced pre-orders for the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising original soundtrack are now open. The soundtrack will be available physically and digitally on January 29, 2025.
The physical Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising original soundtrack will be available for ¥5,500 (tax included) at the CyStore (through Buyee). It will feature more than 70 tracks across four discs, including all character battle themes from Season 1 and music from the game’s various modes. Pre-orders are now available through December 14, 2024. First-print copies will include an exclusive sleeve case, and fans in the west can expect it to ship by February 20, 2025.
The official product description reads, “Original soundtrack for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, the latest installment in the GBVS series of fighting games featuring popular characters from Granblue Fantasy. This definitive edition includes all the battle themes for all characters, including the 6 DLC characters, as well as all the music used in the story and each mode!”
Arc System Works and Cygames previously released Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising DLC character Vikala on October 25. Moreover, it was confirmed that Character Pass 2 DLC will begin to release in winter, with Sandalphon being the first DLC character for the pass.
Alongside the release of Vikala, the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising version 1.60 update released with a number of tweaks to Ranked Matches. The developers are planning further adjustments and improvements for future updates, so stay tuned for more details and official patch notes.
