Inti Creates shared more details about upcoming content updates for Card-en-Ciel, which will release from December 2024 to March 2025. These updates will introduce new post-game dungeons and features.
In December, the next Card-en-Ciel update will introduce Parallel Cards, which are alternative versions of existing cards. These cards may be earned in the Challenge Battle Mode. The January and February updates for Card-en-Ciel introduce new Extra Dungeons and the Endless Dungeon mode, respectively. A MOD Database will be added in the January update as well. Another update will release in March, but further details were not revealed.
The first update for Card-en-Ciel is available now with new post-game Extra Dungeons with their own special rules. One of the dungeons lets players draw an extra three cards a turn. There’s also a dungeon with nine floors, meaning that six more Muses are available to all players as they battle challenging bosses.
Moreover, the official Card-en-Ciel soundtrack is now available on Steam for $24.99 or 10% off in a bundle with the full game. Current owners of the game may receive a discount on the soundtrack by completing the bundle as well. The soundtrack features 17 background music tracks alongside all 50 vocal songs performed by Card-en-Ciel’s Muses for a total of 67 tracks. Album art and metadata for the music is also included.
The Card-en-Ciel demo is available now with contains two main dungeons from the full game, along with a tutorial dungeon. These dungeons are replayable, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the roguelite experience. Save data from the demo may be transferred over to the full game. According to Inti Creates, the demo includes nearly 100 of over 300 cards from the game as well.
Lastly, Card-en-Ciel is available now Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
