In Card-en-Ciel, players control Neon, a gaming detective that collects cards and battles others. More than 10 unique dungeons are available with a diverse roster of character cards to earn and equip for roguelite card battles. Special “Muse Cards” can activate powerful abilities through songs, with 50 vocal tracks included in the game. Hidden card “glitches” may also be used to unleash powerful combos. Also, characters from other Inti Creates IPs will appear in the game.
Ancie (Ruriko Noguchi) performs the game’s theme song “To the Promised Sky.” Yura Hatsuki is the song’s lyricist, and Takumi Sato is the composer/arranger. The Card-en-Ciel story trailer also confirms that 50 vocal songs will be performed by Muses in the game. You can listen to some of these songs right now in the free demo.
Lastly, Card-en-Ciel launches October 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
