Aniplex released a new teaser trailer and key visual for the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus anime series. The anime is an adaptation of the “University Student Arc” of the Rascal Does Not Dream light novel series.
The voice cast of Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus includes Reina Ueda as Miniskirt Santa, Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa, and Mai Sakurajima as Asami Seto. Returning staff for the anime includes studio CloverWorks, director Sōichi Masui, character designer Satomi Tamura, and composer fox capture plan.
The Rascal Does Not Dream series is led by CloverWorks, a subsidiary of Aniplex. The studio first released the TV anime Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai in 2018, followed by the Rascal Does Not Dream of Dreaming Girl movie in 2019.
