HoYoverse announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 “A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn” will launch on December 4. This will be the final chapter for the Penacony storyline, as the Astral Express prepares to head out to the mysterious realm of Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
In Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7, the party will make their final stop in Penacony to reunite with old friends and create everlasting memories before heading to their next destination. During the story, players will meet Sunday, a 5-star Imaginary character with unique support skills. His Skill lets teammates take action immediately with increased damage. His Ultimate can regenerate Energy for one teammate as well while blessing them with increased CRIT DMG.
Fugue is the second 5-star character, acting as a Fire support character that reduces enemies’ Toughness regardless of Weakness Type. Enemy targets are also inflicted with the “Cloudflame Luster” effect. When the effect wears off, the target will take Weakness Break DMG again, and teammates can deal Super Break DMG. Break Effects are also boosted, and Fugue’s Ultimate deals Fire DMG that bypasses Weakness Type to all enemies and reduces Toughness.
5-star characters Jing Yuan and Firefly will also return in the first and second halves of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7, respectively. Moreover, the new Party Car will be available on the Astral Express with a sleek bar and bartending robot. The Cosmic Home Decor Guide event will also let players decorate the Trailblazer’s personal quarters to their liking. From Version 2.7 to 3.2, players can claim the Gift of the Express to claim a free 5-star character as well.
