    Sonic the Hedgehog and DC Collaboration Details Revealed

    The collaboration will include comics, merch, and more.

    After releasing a promo commemorating Batman Day, SEGA has announced that they will be collaborating with DC on more material related to Sonic the Hedgehog. The collaboration, announced during Sonic Central, will include new comics and merch themed around Sonic the Hedgehog characters taking the role of the iconic Justice League.

    In this collaboration, Shadow will fill the role of Batman, Knuckles will be Superman, Amy Rose will be Wonder Woman, Tails will be Cyborg, and of course, Sonic will be The Flash. The collaboration will start in March 2025 with a five-issue comic series from DC. Ian Flynn will write the comics. Later in the year, SEGA and Warner Bros. will release new merch, toys, and more based around the theme of Sonic the Hedgehog and DC. The partnership will continue through 2026.

    Recently, Paramount Pictures released a trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The film is the long-awaited newest entry in the ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise that began in 2020. The upcoming film will feature the highly anticipated debut of Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic’s sworn rival since his debut in Sonic Adventure 2. Keanu Reeves will voice Shadow in the film.

    On October 25, SEGA will feature Shadow in the upcoming remastered version of Sonic Generations, titled Sonic x Shadow Generations. SEGA released a new trailer for the game during Sonic Central. Check out our preview of the game here.

    The upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie will premiere in theaters on December 20. Sonic X Shadow Generations will launch on October 25 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
