During gameplay, Madou Monogatari: Fia and the Mysterious School players can freely move around to avoid enemy attacks and keep theme within attack range. When the timeline in the upper-right corner reaches the left edge, players can select their next action. Facial expressions for the party may be displayed on the left side of the screen, reflecting their current HP and status.
Characters can consume MP to use recovery and attack-based skills. By using skills and getting elemental orbs, the character can enter a “Fever” state. Consuming the orbs will let them unleash a powerful “Grand Sorcery” move, which has attributes based on the collected orbs.
