Smilegate has announced that pre-registration for Control9’s MIRESI: Invisible Future is now open ahead of the game’s participation at Anime Expo 2026. Not only can attendees try out MIRESI: Invisible Future at the Anime Expo booth, but there will be special rewards for those who complete pre-registration there.

MIRESI: Invisible Future follows the story of the protagonist known as the “Councilor.” The Councilor is joined by various heroines to save an era on the brink of destruction. The turn-based combat system incorporates a time-and-space theme directly into combat. Character placement and movement serve as core strategic elements in combat as well.

“With our participation in Anime Expo, we wanted to create an opportunity to introduce MIRESI to global players and communicate with them more closely, which is why we launched the pre-registration page,” said Jae-young Han, Head of Business for MIRESI at Smilegate. “We will continue to gradually reveal more news and updates about MIRESI through various channels, and we hope for your continued interest and excitement.”

MIRESI: Invisible Future will get its own booth in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center during Anime Expo 2026. There will also be a four-sided LED experience zone with special interactions with MIRESI characters, and upon completion, attendees will receive a Polaroid-style collectible featuring the character they interacted with. There will also be a “360° photo zone” and a variety of on-site events with cosplay models, including a turntable event.

Fans who participate in the on-site events will receive exclusive merchandise, including a PVC bag for completing and collecting stamps or a “Happi coat” depicting character Itsuka for completing the demo. What’s more, a special panel session will also feature a “Thicc Character Drawing Show” by AD Hyung-seop Kim (Hyulla). The drawing show will take place on July 4 at 8:45 p.m. PDT in Panel Room 408AB. Special guest artists will join the session and create MIRESI characters in their own unique styles. Attendees of the panel will receive a limited-edition premium postcard as a special reward.
