The staff of the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise announced that The Theater of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel will release on November 29. It will be released simultaneously worldwide with two previously released short stories and a new sequel to those stories.

Nagaru Tanigawa published the original series from 2003-2011. Yen Press has released ten volumes of the light novel in English. Over the years, several Haruhi Suzumiya adaptations have been released in the form of different manga and anime entries. The Theater of Haruhi Suzumiya is the latest entry, and the release was first announced in September 2023.
