Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima Productions announced a special stage show for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will be held at Tokyo Game Show 2024 on September 29.
The PlayStation Presents Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Special Stage will be a panel discussion at Tokyo Game Show 2024, hosted by the legendary Hideo Kojima and singer-songwriter Daichi Miura. They will be joined by various voice actors and guests, including Kenjiro Tsuda, Nana Mizuki, Tomokazu Sugita, Shion Wakayama, and Nicolas Winding Refn. They will all discuss the new game, including the latest update on its development.
The Death Stranding 2: On The Beach stage show will be held for exactly one hour, from 10:30 – 11:30 JST, on September 29. It will held in the Exhibition Hall 1 Event Stage of the Makuhari Messe. Attendees may also head to the Kojima Productions TGS booth at Merchandise Sales Area [11-W02] to purchase a variety of original products. Those who aren’t able to attend TGS 2024 may still look forward to new merchandise via the Kojima Productions online store.
Earlier this year, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach was formally showcased and revealed by Kojima Productions. The reveal trailer showcased Sam Porter Bridges embarking on a new quest to reunite the rest of the world. Together with Fragile and an unnamed character played by George Miller, Sam will traverse countless landscapes to change the world forever.
Death Stranding was first released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in 2019. The game featured Norman Reedus as Sam Porter Bridges, a delivery man who must travel across a broken America and reunite it. In our review of the PC release, we stated the game creates ” an experience like nothing else on the market that is fresh and extremely thought provoking.”
Lastly, Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach will release in 2025 for PlayStation 5 exclusively.
