MAGES. have delayed the release of The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story 2nd to October 31 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. Originally, the game was planned to release on September 26.
According to MAGES., The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story 2nd was delayed for further quality improvements before launch. Like the original game, Gotopazu Story 2nd is a “memorial adventure” game that adapts the events of the mobile game’s second year of service.
In Japan, a Gotopazu Story 2nd Limited Edition will be available for 13,530 yen, and a Special Box Edition will be available for 22,330 yen. Limited Edition contents include an A4-size 300-page art book and the game. Special Box Edition contents include the Limited Edition, five acrylic stands, an A4-size canvas art, and the original soundtrack CD. Pre-orders for the Standard Edition are also live for 6,930 yen.
Like its sequel, the original The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story was delayed to June 29, 2023 in Japan. The upcoming visual novel was originally scheduled to release on May 25, 2023, but MAGES. determined that the game needed further quality improvements before release. MAGES. also re-released all of the game’s trailers to reflect the change to the new release date.
The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer and The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Memories Spent With You recently released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in the west. The games are available separately and in “The Quintessential Quintuplets Double Pack” on Steam and in the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store.
