What Happened in Chapter 12? (Recap)
In chapter 12, the battle intensifies as Boruto takes charge, instructing Konohamaru to protect Himawari. Sarada speculates that the actions of the Sasuke Shinju Clone may be linked to Sasuke’s tree transformation, confusing everyone besides Boruto. Despite this confusion, they begin the battle. Boruto uses Rasengan Uzuhiko to kill the clone, but unfortunately, only partially damages it.
Thankfully, Kawaki steps in and finishes the clone, revealing a mysterious fruit called the Thorn Soul Bulb. Boruto states that it’s critical to saving Sasuke, but Jura, sniping from afar, injures Boruto and Sarada. Jura then seizes the Bulb and declares his intent to kill Boruto.
