Bethesda has officially announced the DOOM + DOOM II enhanced editions. The collection will include several beloved levels, alongside new ones. It will cost $9.99 and is available now on all consoles and PC.
Recently, DOOM celebrated its 30th anniversary. Alongside the release of enhanced versions of both DOOM and DOOM II, Bethesda will release the entire franchise thus far in a new collection called the DOOM Anthology. Limited Run Games will also release DOOM for the SNES in a modern collection. Further, Id Software and Bethesda will release DOOM: The Dark Ages in 2025.
DOOM and DOOM II Updated Editions Available Now on All Consoles
Bethesda and Id Software have officially released updated versions of both DOOM and DOOM II. The collection includes the following, according to the Steam page:
Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993, DOOM pioneered and popularized the first-person shooter, setting a standard for all FPS games. The critically acclaimed sequel, DOOM II, followed in 1994. Now the definitive, newly enhanced versions of DOOM + DOOM II are available as a combined product.

The enhanced versions of DOOM + DOOM II are available now on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Bethesda will reveal more details about DOOM: The Dark Ages in the coming weeks and months.
