SEGA and ATLUS announced that the Unicorn Overlord Official Design Works artbook will release on October 18 for 4,400 yen in Japan, as reported by Famitsu. It will contain setting art, sketches, developer interviews, and much more.
The Unicorn Overlord Official Design Works will contain insight on each character found in the game, including birthdays, ages, illustrations, and comments from the designers. Unicorn Overlord’s world will also be detailed at length in the artbook, with illustrations and background graphics for various in-game locations.
An art gallery includes additional illustrations based on the game’s advertising and promotional materials, such as package artwork, countdown illustrations, and more. Fans can also expect concept art from the game’s development stage. Further into the book is a lines and voice collection, with large amounts of text from across the entire game.
Lastly, the book contains developer interviews with Vanillaware’s Takashi Noma, Wataru Nakanishi, and Yukitsuna Maeda. The three developers discuss secrets and behind-the-scenes information about the game’s characters and world.
Unicorn Overlord is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S. Over 500,000 copies of the game were sold worldwide.
