The official website and social media channels for the Undead Unluck anime series confirmed that a one-hour special will premiere in winter 2025. This announcement was previously teased at AnimeJapan 2024, which confirmed news about the series would come on August 1 (JST).

In January 2020, Yoshifumi Tozuka originally published the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime adaptation premiered this past October exclusively on Hulu. Like many other popular anime series, Undead Unluck aired in a two-cour run, which concluded on Saturday, March 23.
Yuki Yase directed the anime adaptation at David Production, the studio best known for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series. Hideyuki Morioka is the anime’s character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro is the music composer. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS produced and planned the anime.
Shiyui performed the opening theme song “Love Call” for Undead Unluck Part 2. Moreover, OKAMOTO’S performed the ending theme song “Kono Ai ni Kanau Mon wa Nai.”
