    Undead Unluck ‘Important Announcement’ Coming August 1

    The AnimeJapan 2024 stage event for the Undead Unluck anime series confirms that an “important announcement” will be made on August 1. Speculation points toward a second season of Undead Unluck being confirmed. 

    In January 2020, Yoshifumi Tozuka originally published the Undead Unluck manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime adaptation premiered this past October exclusively on Hulu. Like many other popular anime series, Undead Unluck aired in a two-cour run, which concluded on Saturday, March 23. 

    Undead Unluck Announcement Could Be Season 2

    A major announcement for Undead Unluck will come on August 1, which is the same in-universe day that Andy and Fuuko met. The official Undead Unluck Twitter account also posted a teaser clip for the upcoming date, telling fans to please wait patiently for what’s to come. The announcement is most likely Undead Unluck Season 2.

     

    Yuki Yase directed the Undead Unluck anime at David Production, the studio best known for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series. Hideyuki Morioka is the anime’s character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro is the music composer. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS produced and planned the anime.

    Shiyui performed the opening theme song “Love Call” for Undead Unluck Part 2. Moreover, OKAMOTO’S performed the ending theme song “Kono Ai ni Kanau Mon wa Nai.” 

    Lastly, all 24 episodes of the Undead Unluck anime series are streaming right now Hulu. Each cour of the anime features 12 episodes. Here’s an overview of Undead Unluck’s story from TMS Entertainment:
