Van Arkride has a lot of companions in The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, so there’s a lot of gifts to go around as well. Delivering these gifts to Van’s companions will help raise their Connection level with him, granting stat bonuses and additional rewards.
In The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, 40 gifts may be found throughout the game’s chapters by visiting shops in Edith and other locations in Calvard. Only 20 gifts are necessary for the “Vanta Claus” trophy/achievement, but those who get all of the gifts are more than likely to max out most of the Connections. It’s worth noting that gifts available outside of Edith are missable, since the party will not revisit these locations after completing its respective chapter.
