Crunchyroll Game Vault Adding STEINS;GATE, Corpse Party and More

9 Years of Shadows, RWBY: Arrowfell, and more coming soon.

Crunchyroll announced an expansion of its Crunchyroll Game Vault service, revealing 15 more games will be available with its service. Starting today, Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan members have access to turn-based RPG Battle Chasers: Nightwar, the kaiju-inspired beat em’ up Dawn of the Monsters, and puzzle-platformer Evan’s Remains on iOS and Android.

The other 12 games will be launching through summer and fall 2024. Crunchyroll partnered with MAGES to bring critically acclaimed sci-fi visual novel STEINS;GATE, cult classic horror game Corpse Party, cyberpunk visual novel PSYCHO-PASS: MANDATORY HAPPINESS, and romance visual novel The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer.

Players can also expect 9 Years of Shadows, Crypt of the NecroDancer and its SYNCHRONY and Hatsune Miku DLC, RWBY: Arrowfell, Lunar Lux, MMC KENKEN – The World’s Most Exciting Math and Logic Puzzle, PictoQuest, Spidersaurs, and Magical Drop VI to join the Crunchyroll Game Vault as well.

“Bringing visual novels to Crunchyroll’s game lineup is another example of how we super-serve our fans with entertainment that deepens their love of anime,” said Terry Li, EVP of Emerging Business, Crunchyroll. “Like manga, visual novels are a source material for hit anime and often expand on beloved series. It is important to offer that content to our audience as part of their membership”

In November 2023, Crunchyroll announced a partnership with various developers and publishers to bring premium mobile games to Crunchyroll Game Vault. Games will be available without ads or in-app purchases, allowing Mega and Ultimate Fan members to fully enjoy mobile titles without distractions. This is in addition to Crunchyroll’s vast streaming library of anime with popular series like SPY x FAMILY, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and One Piece.
