Nintendo has revealed Super Mario Party Jamboree, the next entry in the beloved Mario Party series. The game will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 17.
Mario Party is one of Nintendo’s most beloved franchises. The series initially started on the Nintendo 64, with the most recent entry, Mario Party: Superstars, bringing back several maps from those original games. The next entry in the series will bring back some of those maps, alongside several new ones.
Super Mario Party Jamboree Revealed, Releasing Later This Year
Nintendo has finally revealed the next entry in the Mario Party franchise. The entry, titled Super Mario Party Jamboree, will release later this year. The game is being hyped up as the biggest entry in the series thus far, with a wide variety of playable characters, seven maps (including two from the Nintendo 64 games), and of course, dozens of brand new minigames. According to the description, players can “take on over 110 minigames, 7 game boards (5 new boards and 2 returning boards), and join up to 20 players head-to-head online in Koopathlon mode!”

The announcement comes courtesy of Nintendo’s recent Nintendo Direct. During the event, Nintendo has revealed a new Mario & Luigi game, Dragon Quest HD-2D remakes, a HD version of Donkey Kong Country Returns and more. All of the games mentioned above will release in the next year or so. Nintendo will likely reveal more about all of the aforementioned games in the coming months.
Lastly, Super Mario Party Jamboree will release for the Nintendo Switch on October 17, 2024.
