Nintendo has officially announced Mario & Luigi: Brothership, the next entry in the beloved Mario & Luigi series. The game will be available for the Nintendo Switch on November 7.
The Mario & Luigi series initially began on the Gameboy Advance with Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Over the years, the franchised garnered several sequels such as Partners in Time, Bowser’s Inside Story, Dream Team, and Paper Jam. Brothership will mark the first entry in the series in almost nine years.

Nintendo has revealed the next entry in the Mario & Luigi series during the most recent Nintendo Direct. The game, titled Brothership, will mark the first entry in the series in almost nine years. Recently, Nintendo has released several remasters of older entries in their other RPG series. In November 2023, they released Super Mario RPG, a remastered version of the SNES classic. Last month, they released Paper Mario and the Thousand-Year Door, a remake of the Gamecube cult classic. Both games are available now on the Nintendo Switch.
Lastly, Mario & Luigi: Brothership will be available for the Nintendo Switch on November 7. Nintendo will likely reveal more details about the upcoming game in the coming months.
