SEGA announced Sonic X Shadow Generations will launch on October 25 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game will be sold physically and digitally for $59.99.
The physical edition of Sonic X Shadow Generations will be sold for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch only. Pre-orders include Gerald Robotnik’s Journal, which details Shadow’s creation, and the Sonic Adventure legacy skin for Sonic the Hedgehog.
A Digital Deluxe Edition will be sold with three days of early access beginning October 22. This edition includes the Sonic Adventure legacy skin, Terios skin, Skill Points, Extra BGM Pack, Digital Art Book and OST, an additional level and skin for Shadow (launching in holiday 2024).

As recently revealed, the new SEGA Pass for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will feature playable DLC characters Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. The SEGA Pass will be available with the Digital Deluxe Edition, but it will also be sold separately.
Sonic Mania Plus is finally available now on Android and iOS worldwide, exclusively through the Netflix Games service. The game is also available now for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Lastly, Keanu Reeves has been reportedly cast as Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The upcoming movie is set to be released on December 20, 2024 in theaters around the world.
