    Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 1 DLC Launches May 24

    Bandai Namco announced the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 1 DLC will release on May 24 alongside the game’s new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions

    While Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft continue to develop Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, support for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is still going strong. 2024 will be a major year for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, as the Future Saga DLC introduces new playable characters, scenario, and side content to explore. These new characters include Dragon Ball Super versions of Android 18 and Videl.

    Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 1 Launch

    As previously revealed in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 roadmap, the Future Saga is divided into multiple chapters. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 1 includes several new pieces of content, and three more chapters are seemingly planned to release in 2024 and 2025. The release of Chapter 1 is also accompanied by Free Update #18, which features new raid quests, costumes, and much more.

    Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is in development and will feature a “historic” roster of characters and newer fan-favorites from Dragon Ball Super. In fact, the game is speculated to have 164 playable characters in total. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO features incredible visuals, dynamic effects, and in-game weather changes when transforming or charging ki. 

    Executive producer Akio Iyoku is committed to a decade of Dragon Ball anime and games, which includes the new Dragon Ball Daima anime and Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO game. He will be vital to the growth of the anime and games sector, while Toyotarou handles the manga and upholds Akira Toriyama’s lasting legacy. Dragon Ball Daima will premiere in fall 2024 on Fuji TV, and more details are coming soon.

    Lastly, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
