Spike Chunsoft have announced that Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 1 in the west. The game will launch first in Japan on July 18.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE released on June 30, 2023 for Nintendo Switch as the latest game by Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka. After waking up with amnesia, protagonist Yuma Kokohead heads into Kanai Ward to begin his work as a detective to find leads about his past. More than 300,000 players around the world have purchased the Nintendo Switch game, and players on different platforms will finally be able to play the game with additional features.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ Features and Physical/Digital Editions
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ is an upgraded version of the base game with all DLC included, up to 4K support, and reduced load times. In addition, the game features a new Gallery Mode with the game’s cinematics and BGM.
The standard edition of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ will be available for $59.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $69.99 featuring the game, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack.
What’s more, a Lucid-Noir Limited Edition (PS5 only) will also be available for $99.99 featuring the game, an collector’s box with artwork by illustrator Rui Komatsuzaki, a SteelBook case, a 6.5-inch Shinigami plush, and the Noise of Neon official soundtrack.
All pre-orders include on PS5 include the How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case bonus digital novel, according to the official website. First-print physical copies include a printed version of the novel.
