SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Daisoujou. This demon was previously featured in the “Return of the True Demon” DLC for the original Shin Megami Tensei V.

The May 2 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Kresnik, a vampire blessed with the power of light. In his eternal battle against Kudlak, they fight by turning into animals like pigs, bulls, and horses. However, the animals Kresnik turns into are always white in color, denoting the purity of his light.

Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Daisoujou is a Buddhist priest who lost their life while meditating and fasting in order to save others. Daisoujou’s body did not decompose due to his immense spiritual power, allowing them to still exist. Some believe that he will appear before people again on the day of salvation.
