ATLUS announced Studio Zero-developed fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio will launch on October 11 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows (Microsoft Store).
An exciting trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio was revealed at The Game Awards 2023, revealing a fall 2024 launch window. Following the show, more details were revealed by ATLUS in a new interview video with Hashino, Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. Metaphor: ReFantazio appears to be ATLUS’ last major release of 2024, after Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis: The Answer release.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Release Date Confirmed for October 11, Physical Editions Revealed
The new “The King’s Trail” trailer shown during the Metaphor: ReFantazio ATLUS Exclusive livestream confirmed that the game will launch on October 11. In the showcase, game director Katsura Hashino highlighted new gameplay for the upcoming RPG as well. Moreover, a new episode of ATLUS Exclusive Metaphor Stalker Club will be held on April 23 at 4:00 a.m. PT / 7:00 a.m. ET.
A new Metaphor: ReFantazio demo is planned to release in June 2024. Moreover, Hashino confirmed that pre-orders for Metaphor: ReFantazio are now live today, and fans may check availability at the game’s official website. A physical Standard Edition will be sold featuring the physical base game, Archetype EXP Item Set, and Journey Chest Set. A Collector’s Edition will be available featuring the following contents:
