    Goddess of Victory: NIKKE 1.5 Year Anniversary Celebration Coming Soon

    Level Infinite and Stellar Blade developer SHIFT UP announced a new update will soon celebrate the 1.5 year anniversary of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.

    Goddess of Victory: NIKKE launched on November 4, 2022, and it quickly became one of the most popular mobile games in the world. The PC version launched just a few months later in February 2023, and multiple collaborations have been held ever since, including a crossover event with NieR: Automata. The game’s March 21 update introduced a collaboration event with the Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World anime series.

    Goddess of Victory: NIKKE 1.5 Year Anniversary Celebration

    For the 1.5 year anniversary celebration, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will receive a new story event called the Lost Kingdom, new unlockable characters, the For the King tower defense-style minigame, and various giveaways and rewards to claim. Players can expect up to 98 recruitment opportunities and Kilo/Rei 4 SSR choice box during the celebration. Japanese rock band Queen Bee will also release a new theme song for the game to celebrate the anniversary. 

    According to AppAnnie, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE earned over $528,000,000 in revenue since launch. Thanks to the studio’s success with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, SHIFT UP is now hiring for a new project coming to consoles, PC, and mobile platforms. The new project will be a “next-gen AAA urban science-fiction action RPG” developed in Unreal Engine 5. 

    In Korea, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE won Best Game of 2023, Best Story of 2023, and Best Game for Tablets of 2023. Goddess of Victory: NIKKE also won the Best Game for Tablets 2023 in Japan, Taiwan and Indonesia. Moreover, the game received several honorable mentions for other awards in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan. This includes Best Multiplayer, Best for Tablets, and Best Story honorable mentions. 

    Lastly, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Windows worldwide.
