Compile Heart released a teaser trailer for an upcoming reveal of a new “Z” game, which could be Death end re;Quest Code:Zion. The full reveal will happen on April 24.
Seven new games are currently in development at Compile Heart, including the next numbered Hyperdimension Neptunia title and Death end re;Quest 3. A spin-off was teased as well with the tentative title being Death end re;Quest Code:Zion. What’s more, this game will apparently focus on a story told between the first and second games.
Compile Heart Preparing for Z Game Reveal in New Teaser
The new Z game reveal will be for Compile Heart’s “Galapagos RPG Evolve” title, which was originally hinted at back in May 2022. Nearly a year later in October 2023, Compile Heart clarified its upcoming slate of games, which includes the two aforementioned Death end re;Quest games. Death end re;Quest Code:Zion is supposed to release first this summer for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan.
It’s worth noting that the new teaser trailer opens with a CERO Z rating card and the text, as pointed out by Gematsu. The rating’s text reads, “This title contains graphic content. Viewer discretion is advised. Not sold to anyone under 18 years of age.” In the trailer, a girl’s face is splattered in blood, followed by text reading “Become as strong as the number of times you die.”
What’s more, a new countdown teaser website is now live with a reveal set for April 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT / 10:30 p.m. ET. Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the reveal this week.

Lastly, Compile Heart is also preparing to release Neptunia VS Titan Dogoo, a new motorcycle action game spin-off. The game will launch on June 28 in Japan for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
