Skybound has announced that they will be opening a crowdfunding campaign for a AAA Invincible game. The announcement comes over a week after the ending of Invincible Season 2.
In the last few months, the Invincible franchise has experimented more and more with the video game medium. The series initially began as a graphic novel epic written by Robert Kirkman and Image Comics in 2003. An animated adaptation premiered in 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. Recently, Skybound has released a spin-off virtual novel, a collaboration with Fortnite, and a guest character in Mortal Kombat 1. The upcoming game will mark its first AAA title.
Skybound Opens Crowdfunding Program for a AAA Invincible Game
Skybound has recently opened a crowdfunding program for a Triple-A Invincible game. The campaign is available on Republic. The program is likely meant to appeal to investors with the promise of a new game set in the beloved universe of Invincible, developed entirely in-house by Skybound.
