Stunlock Studios has revealed the gameplay trailer for the upcoming V Rising and Castlevania collaboration. The collaboration will be available on May 8, alongside the base game.
Stunlock Studios initially released V Rising for Steam Early Access in May 2022. The game is an action, open-world, top-down adventure where you play as a vampire. Players must “hunt for blood in nearby settlements to regain [their] strength and evade the scorching sun to survive.” The game also includes online multiplayer. The previously announced Castlevania collaboration will feature beloved protagonist, Simon Belmont, alongside several more beloved characters.
V Rising Reveals Gameplay Trailer for “Legacy of Castlevania” Crossover
Stunlock Studios has released the gameplay trailer for the upcoming V Rising and Castlevania crossover. The crossover, titled Legacy of Castlevania, will be available alongside the full release of the game on May 8. Simon Belmont, a new whip weapon, and more will be included in the collaboration. If players purchase the premium cosmetic DLC, they can “construct their own castles inspired by Castlevania’s classic gothic aesthetic… enjoy character customization options inspired by classic Castlevania characters, and spread terror with [their] spooky skeletal mount.” There will also be two classic Castlevania themes, reimagined by V Rising composer Aleksandria Migova.

Lastly, V Rising and the Castlevania collaboration will release for PC via Steam on May 8. The game will also be available for the PlayStation 5 later this year.
