The official website for Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf anime series reveals that Holo will become a YouTuber on April 3. In the first new video, Holo will go over the recent premiere of the anime.
The Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf anime is animated and produced at studio Passione and ENISHIYA. Takeo Takahashi returns as the chief director of the series alongside director Hijiri Sanpei. Kevin Penkin will compose the music for the Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf anime.
Holo Becomes a Spice and Wolf YouTuber
The TOHO Animation YouTube channel will release the first video featuring Holo as the Spice and Wolf ambassador and YouTuber on April 3 at 19:00 JST. A new video will be released every week on Wednesday on the anime’s official TikTok channel as well. Moreover, fans in Japan may submit special messages for Holo to acknowledge in the upcoming video.
The new Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf anime will premiere on April 1 at 25:30 JST, or April 2 at 1:30 a.m. JST, on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi. The anime will also air on BS TV Tokyo and AT-X after the initial premiere. Fans can expect the anime to air for two consecutive cours, or a total of 24 episodes.
Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu reprise their roles as Lawrence and Holo respectively. Hana Hope performs the “Tabi no Yukue” opening theme song, and ClariS performs the ending theme song “Andante.”
The original light novel series is written by Isuna Hasekura and illustrated by Jū Ayakura, and 24 volumes have been released to date. ASCII Media Works publishes the series under its Dengeki Bunko imprint. Additionally, Yen Press distributes the series in English.
