Maximum Entertainment released a trailer for upcoming DLC characters and modes coming to Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons. Sonny Lee, Chin Sei Mei, and Ranzou arrive to the game on April 4. This news comes from Maximum Entertainment’s official YouTube Channel.
On March 15, Maximum Entertainment teased this update, stating that players can expect new characters and modes. Fans looked forward to seeing who would be the 2 new characters added after Ranzou’s announcement. Below are the details of the announcement.
The Sacred Reunion DLC for Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is Almost Here
The Sacred Reunion free DLC update will include three veteran Double Dragon characters that many will be familiar with. Along with Ranzou, Chin Sei Mei and Sonny Lee arrive on April 4. Sonny Lee was last playable in Double Dragon IV, while Chin Sei Mei last appeared in Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones. Maximum Entertainment confirmed that they are all playable across all modes, including Survival Mode.
Aside from online co-op, a Versus Mode will be available for players to enjoy. In this mode, players can upgrade their characters with various options, select stages, and fight it out against friends.
Additionally, new upgrades, improvements, additional content, and a new difficulty mode will be coming when the Sacred Reunion DLC launches.
